Get Ready With Me  #WorkEdition

Hair, makeup and then it's time to rock n'roll!

Half my job as a master of ceremony is leading the proceedings and engaging the crowd. The other half? Making sure I look the part - professional, well-put-together, and depending on the nature of the event, garnishing the room touch of glamour! Check out my pre-work make up routine, followed by a trip to my favourite hair stylist at Dick Chin’s Hair Gallery!

This gig was the launch of Bremont’s new collection of aviation inspired time pieces. Not wanting to let them down with my complete lack of hair-spiration, I hopped over to my trusty hair style gurus (3rd floor at the JW Marriott Hotel if you are interested) for a tasteful yet understated down-do. Thanks Dick Chin!

After picking up my dress - a pretty little pink number by Kate Spade with pleated skirt selected by the client, Shu Uemura were kind enough to give me to touch up my make up before hosting the event.

Sadly! I made a rookie move - in all my excitement playing around with the new Canon G7 Mark ii I forgot to charge the battery and ran out just before the event. I did manage to capture a couple of seconds of the watch display cases before it conked out on me though, so there’s that!

Anyway, I decided to turn this daily vlog into a Get Ready With Me Video. So, here you have it, a quick smokey eye, followed by pre-event hair, dress, and running around. Hope you enjoy it!
